Dr Kathleen de Castella has 20 years of general practice experience in the private and public sector since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 1996. In her spare time Kathleen enjoys keeping fit, watching action films, good food and wine and supporting the mighty Hawks!
Kathleen’s interests include pain management, root canal therapy, preventive and cosmetic dentistry.
She is also great with children-not surprising as she has five of her own!
She is an active member of the ADA and was one of the founding members of the Victorian Women in Dentistry.
Dr Kathleen de Castella lived in the Yarra Valley from 1999 to 2012 while raising her five young children with her husband Damien de Castella. During this period, she worked at Bundoora Dental Clinic, Healesville Dental Surgery and then North Ringwood Dental Group.
They are located opposite the Yarra Glen Grand Hotel, just down from the Post Office.
There are two dental surgeries on-site, one with wheelchair access. Any patient who is disabled and required special assistance from their car can notify the surgery in advance. There are toilets on site that are also accommodating to patients who are disabled.
